Op PROSPER is an Office for Veterans’ Affairs programme (awarded to us through the Armed Forces Covenant Fund Trust) which will empower veterans and their families the length and breadth of the United Kingdom, enabling them to thrive in society by ensuring equal access to employment opportunities and supporting them into sustainable, valuable careers.
The programme will mobilise the business community to drive practical, cultural and behavioural change within sectors, ensuring they become more ‘veteran friendly’, while also creating tailored pathways for veterans into positions of employment.
Three complex workstreams will be supported over the next three years:
When you reach out to us for employment help or advice, our specialist-trained employment advisors can introduce you to new career opportunities across different sectors.
They can offer direct access to veteran-friendly employers and offer tips and advice on how to navigate the individual recruitment pathways.
The Forces Employment Charity actively engages with employers across the country within nationally significant sectors. We work with employers to maintain or establish military pathways, and deliver events across the country connecting employers with veterans. All of this is aimed at supporting the recruitment, retention, progression and tracking of military talent from the Armed Forces community.
