Op ASCEND is an Office for Veterans’ Affairs programme awarded to us through the Armed Forces Covenant Fund Trust. It is a natural extension of the Career Transition Partnership (CTP), enabling veterans and their families to maximise their potential and take their careers to the next level.
Op ASCEND provides clear, accessible career pathways for veterans, ensuring they are empowered to succeed from the moment they join the Armed Forces, throughout their service, and beyond. Whether continuing in national security or transitioning to civilian careers, Op ASCEND ensures that veterans and their families can access meaningful opportunities that build on their unique skills and experience.
Building on the success of Op PROSPER, Op ASCEND has already engaged 312 employers and supported 3,000 veterans and family members over the last 12 months.
Op ASCEND ensures that veterans and their families are recognised, valued, and supported throughout their careers.
When you reach out to us for employment help or advice, our specialist-trained employment advisors can introduce you to new career opportunities across different sectors.
They can offer direct access to military-friendly employers and offer tips and advice on how to navigate the individual recruitment pathways.
The Forces Employment Charity partners with employers across the country within nationally significant sectors. We support you to maintain or establish military pathways, and deliver events across the country connecting employers with veterans. Our work promotes the recruitment, retention, progression and tracking of military talent from the Armed Forces community.
