One Is Too Many

One is Too Many offers information for vulnerable and suicidal veterans. Whatever struggles you are facing, you are not alone.

We understand that the shift to non-military living brings a number of challenges that can lead to service leavers and veterans feeling isolated and caught between military and civilian worlds.

This difficult adjustment can lead to housing problems, debt, health issues, PTSD, or drug and alcohol misuse, which in turn can cause suicidal thoughts and feelings.

One is Too Many provides information, coping tools and signposts to organisations where you can find further support.

“I think my biggest achievement is getting through this. Of living a happy life. You can do it, you can get there, and you can control your mind. Just don’t quit.”

Messages of hope
"The life I have now… I’m so glad I didn’t… I’m so glad I received that phone call. I think my biggest achievement is getting through this. Of living a happy life. You can do it, you can get there, and you can control your mind. Just don’t quit."
