NOVA Wales

From December 2025, NOVA Wales will operate a core service focused on veterans living in South Wales. Once this has been established, the intention is to roll out nationally, providing an equitable service to those available in Scotland and England.

Most former serving personnel adapt well to civilian life, but for some, factors such as poor physical or mental health, homelessness, debt, health issues, PTSD, or alcohol, drug or gambling misuse can lead them into contact with the justice system. These issues can surface at any stage, from service discharge to much later on in life.

This is where we step in. As leading providers of justice sector services to the veteran community, we know that specialist support and intervention are proven to generate positive outcomes for individuals involved, as well as the justice sector and the local community.

NOVA Wales’s life-changing – and often lifesaving – support helps veterans in the justice system to address their underlying issues, rebuild their lives and fulfil their potential.

NOVA Wales is funded by the Armed Forces Covenant Fund Trust.
