Ramnik joined the Forces Employment Charity in May 2022 from the Officers’ Association where he had been a Trustee since 2018.
He was employed with ICI Paints for 30 years in roles covering research, technical service, sales, project management and business acquisition across Europe, Far East and China. Following sale of ICI Paints to PPG he worked as an independent consultant. He joined CAB as board member, was appointed a NED in an NHS Trust, and joined Network Rail as a Public Member. He joined the Magistracy in 2004 and served as Justice of the Peace for over 13 years in Reading and was appointed a Deputy Lieutenant of Berkshire in 2010. He is a former governor of both primary and secondary schools and retains a strong interest in education, and in the field of mental health. He retains an interest in equality and diversity issues and recently joined the TVP’s SIAG to oversee the implementation of its Race Action Plan 2023-25.
His aspirations for the charity are to be the first “go to” choice of our Armed Forces leavers and their families when seeking employment.
